Option 3: Use ASQ within a system that integrates with your EHR
ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 are incorporated into several pediatric systems that can be linked to your EHR. Your practice can use ASQ questionnaires electronically with a subscription to:
CHADIS®, the Comprehensive Health and Development Interactive System, a web-based screening, diagnosis, and management system. CHADIS offers web-based ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 questionnaire completion (in English and Spanish, with more languages coming soon), automatic questionnaire scoring, and time-based graphical displays.
CheckinAsyst®, a digital patient intake and communication platform from HealthAsyst. Pediatric practices can digitally administer ASQ-3 based on the child’s age and premature birth conditions. CheckinAsyst scores the patient data and interprets the development level automatically. The platform also sends child data to the EHR and offers detailed reports for providers to monitor critical metrics easily.
Phreesia, which offers automated tools for intake, scheduling, payments, clinical support, and more. Pediatric practices can use Phreesia’s intake platform to electronically administer the ASQ-3 (in English and Spanish). Scores are automatically calculated and exported via PDF into patients’ electronic health records for better screening reliability and consistency.
Patient Tools® (PTI), an enterprise solution for electronic patient interviews for all age groups and specialties. PTI offers tablet (e.g., iPad, Android) and web-based ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 questionnaire completion (in English, Spanish, Hmong, and Somali), plus scoring, trending across ASQ age groups, and in-depth reporting in real time.
